“… we proclaim, namely, that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heat that God raised Him from the dead, you will be delivered…”
What a promise Father and thank You so much that You have done this for us.
Is there a pattern in this for us Father?
How many times, with a spouse or our children or a close friend have we been silent, not expressed out loud to them the love we have for them or credit them for the good we see in them, or declare to them how blessed we feel, how fortunate we consider ourselves to have them in our lives.
How many times is it that much later, “back looking”, reflecting on these things, we wish we had spoken with our mouths, out loud, even in the hearing of others, but especially in their hearing, those things we saw and admired and valued in them, learned from them, were blessed by?
How many times Father, we were silent in the moment when at that moment is exactly the time we should have spoken up?
Father may we take a lesson from Your instructions to proclaim and acknowledge with our mouths to one another our appreciation for them.
May it be Father, that we are thinking beforehand the admirable things in others so that when a moment comes to share what we know, it isn’t missed.
Actions are important to You Father. But aren’t words spoken, important as well, words eye to eye, ear to ear and giving witness of our heart?
You have said:
“Like apples of gold in settings of silver,
Is a word appropriately spoken.”
So should we not do it?
Thank You Father for those You have blessed us with and for the capacity to bless them in return.
In Yeshua’s name we pray,
