Minchah Prayer 08-05-20

Father, it is out of love for You we pray, a love for You inspired the knowledge that You have always first loved us, You do listen and respond.

Concern about time we set aside. Awareness of it fades as we join ourselves in privacy to You.

There is no need to be on guard. You know every detail of our person, our thoughts and feelings. It frees us because even in that knowledge You have of us… knowledge we are successful in hiding from others but can’t from You, we are safe. We know You will not reject us. Instead You graciously acquiesce, receive us as we approach and You listen… You allow us to just talk, fill Your ears with things and as we speak we are settled… even in the space between one word to the next You show us things… bring things to mind that reveal something, give an understanding, that comfort, encourage, counsel. We are emptied in one way…filled in another. Our spirits are rested. We are “un-weighted”.

We are so blessed Father. You care and You are patient. Thank You Father… so much.

Help us Father to find balance in our lives, between the troubles we see in this world and the upset we experience because of them and the undeniable beauty and joys we experience in Your awesome creation and the goodness we do see in Your created beings one to another… find balance as we struggle Father, between good and evil.

May we commit ourselves, make a decision Father, to… cast out fear with a love of You, open our hearts unashamedly and consistently and voice ourselves to You in heartfelt, trusting, expectant, believing prayer no matter the time or place…May it be a witness of Your absolute realness in our lives and witness that it is You we rely on and go to.

We love You Abba…Dear Father.

In Yeshua’s name we pray,

Amen.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.”
