I have some friends here who are very much involved with IHOP-KC. I don't agree with the organization since it seems to be saying that it is the new Temple and Kansas City is the new Jerusalem (not New Jerusalem as in Revelation). One of the things they keep saying is stuff about "gazing on the beauty of the Lord". I've asked them what it means and I have no idea what they are saying, if they do say anything. If anything, all they give me is more mystical answers that point me nowhere or they say they don't know. They act like I should know what they are talking about. Can anyone explain to me what this is from a Hebrew standpoint?

Subject: Building a Sukkah - by: servingbrother

I going to build my first Sukkah to celebrate Sukkot. I been reading and watching videos, so I have the basic requirements down. I am building my Sukkah from small trees on my land, that I'd like to thin out anyway. I plan on building 3 1/2 sides and the roof from the trees . I will build each side separately by laying out four poles for the vertical sides, then weave the other poles between the 2 middle poles and tie them to the end poles for the horizontal sides. Once all three sides are complete stand them up and lash the sides together. I will use more poles for the roof and throw the limbs on the roof for added shade. Here is my question, I live in South Mississippi and it gets extremely humid here. I have a freestanding A/C unit and a generator and an old sliding glass door. Would it be acceptable to cover the walls with plastic, install the sliding glass door on the front side, and put the A/C unit inside and the generator outside. I know it sounds like over kill, but I want to make some videos about Sukkot and let guest watch them on a small TV inside the Sukkah. The generator would also allow me to run a small fridge for cool water and a large coffee maker. Please give me some advise. You may email me at servingbrother@gmail.com.

Awesome! Thanking G-d for the opportunity to be a sharer in this gift of love to the Jewish people. That we could be Esthers, "For such a time as this," is a blessing.
May the light of Yeshua go forth from Jerusalem.

Hello, we are two Christians who have live in the UK, near Manchester, in Cheshire.
We have studied the Torah for 1 just over a year and completed the first 5 books from Torah Class.

We now honour shabbat and we observe the dietory instructions. We have been deeply blessed with the studies and we are seeking those who would like to join our study/shabbat group. We welcome anyone who is seeking to understand the great faith that Hashem has deliverd to us through Moses, Lord Yeshuah Messiah and the Apostles.
Deut. 6:4-6. Our heart's desire is to meet with those who seek the truth and who wish to serve the Lord.

Please contact me if your life in Messiah has changed and you are seeking to follow the Ancient paths of the Lord through Torah study and obedience or if you wish to join with us on this wonderful journey towards spiritual maturity.

God Bless

I greatly appreciate the illumination I received in listening to this chapter study. I need further illucidation regarding the nature of light and darkness. From the reasoning put forth by Brother Bradford, the condition of darkness is created as a result of the creation of light. In other words, light must first be created in order for darkness to exist. Does this mean that light preceeds darkness? If so, how do I understand the first day of Creation when darkness existed before light was called forth?

Also, if the purpose of the Tree of Knowledge and the Torah is to awaken us to our moral conscience, is it best to keep this awareness dormant so we can exist in the pre-Tree condition-not questioning God's authority? What are the implications in parenting infants? Is there an argument for live-and-let-live to keep children in a longer state of sweet innocence?

Warmly- Arlene
